Denmark's New AltID App Reaches 230,000 Downloads
Denmark's official digital ID app AltID lets residents with a CPR number prove their identity on their phone.

/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /More than 230,000 people in Denmark have downloaded AltID. This is the country's new official mobile ID app. The Agency for Digitisation shared these numbers.
The app lets residents over 13 years old prove their age and identity. You need a CPR number to use it. This includes foreign students and international workers living in Denmark.
You can use AltID for daily identity checks in physical stores and online. It gives residents a legal digital ID option directly on their phone.
