Danish Holiday Home Sales Reach 5-Year High
Data shows sales of vacation homes in Denmark rose 9.5 percent in the first half of 2026.

/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Sales of Danish holiday homes rose to a five-year high in early 2026. Data from Boligsiden shows buyers bought 5,897 homes in six months. This is a 9.5 percent rise from the same time in 2025.
Sales grew in all parts of Denmark. This is the top total in five years, except for the pandemic period. It shows strong local demand for people who plan to buy a holiday house.
