Flight Delay Complaints Rise Sharply in Denmark
Data shows a quick rise in passenger complaints over delayed flights in Denmark during 2026.

/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /More people in Denmark are filing complaints about flight delays. New data from Trafikstyrelsen shows a quick rise in these cases. In the first half of 2026, passengers filed 650 complaints. That is almost as many as the 785 complaints filed in all of 2025.
If you fly out of Copenhagen for work or study, know your rights. Airlines must give you food and help if your flight is late. For long delays, you may get money back under EU rules.
Try to solve the issue with your airline first. If they reject your claim, you can complain to Trafikstyrelsen. This offers residents a free way to resolve flight disputes in Denmark.
